Pastor Brent Smith Preaching January 2

We're starting out the New Year with a global emphasis! Pastor Brent Smith, a former missionary that Immanuel supported for many years with his work in Eurasia, is now serving with Lutheran Bible Translators (LBT), a wonderful mission organization who is continually working to put God's Word into more and more languages to make it accessible to more people around the world. Pastor Brent will be preaching on the gift of God's Word in both services on Sunday and he will also be leading a Sunday morning Bible study to share more about the work of LBT. That study will be held in the sanctuary during the Education Hour this Sunday (9:30-10:20).
