Labor Day - Mid-May: Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:20

For Children

Sunday School

For all children infants through 6th Grade.

Infant/Toddler Class: Room 110 - This class is for 0-3 year olds (or 4 year olds who are not currently enrolled in Preschool) with music, a Bible story, and time to play.
Sunday School Opening: All 4-year-olds through 3^rd Graders start in Room 113 for opening. After Opening, children go to their age-appropriate classes as follows:
- Pre-Kindergarten-Kindergarten Class: Room 108 - 4-year-olds through Kindergarteners will gather for a Bible story, game, craft, and more fun!
- 1^st-3^rd Grade Class: Room 113 - 1^st through 3^rd Graders will gather for a Bible story, game, activity, craft, and more fun!
- Bridge456: Room 204, 4^th through 6^th graders will gather for an overview of the Bible.

For Youth

Middle School

At Immanuel, we hold confirmation classes with 7th and 8th graders, with the 8th grade year finishing with the Rite of Confirmation service (also called Confirmation Sunday). Confirmation is a time of faith formation in a student's life where we dive deeper into what it means to be Lutheran, work through big questions, and learn about the Christian walk. All 7^th and 8^th graders are welcome to join us in Room 207. Contact Miss Emma using the email below with any questions!

Class: Heaven on Earth - There's More to Come

Location: Room #36

Teacher/Facilitator: Kathy Schlecht

This 6-week class taught by Kathy Schlecht is based on the theological and biblical material she explored on her doctoral journey. Biblical eschatology is the topic of the class (doctrine concerning the end times), with a specific focus on God’s promise of a new heaven and new earth. We not only enjoy the promise of heaven but also the reality of heaven on earth in the very presence of Jesus. This fresh vision of eternity will encourage you and build up your hope in Christ!

Class: Immanuel 101

Location: Room #112

Curious about who we are at Immanuel or what we believe and teach? Are you interesting in joining Immanuel? Immanuel 101 is a 9-week class where those questions can be answered. There is no obligation to join after attending the class, but you will be given the opportunity to do so. Immanuel 101 starts September 21st during the Education Hour in room 112 (look for the signs!). If you or someone you know would be interested in attending the class, let Pastor Glen know so he can have enough materials prepared. While all attendees will be invited to join, there is NO obligation made by simply coming to the class.

Class: Letter to the Ephesians

Location: Room #206 (Upstairs)

Teacher/Facilitator: Pastor Robin

Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is one of the most astute expressions of faith and discipleship that we have in the New Testament. As one of the Apostle Paul’s prison letters, he shares with the Jesus followers in Ephesus and also with many other faith communities not only the profound nature of the gift of salvation by grace, but also the practical application of issues in a Christian’s life such as relationships, marriage, spiritual warfare, etc. In our Adult Education ministry, we are committed to having at least one, on-going Bible Study open weekly for any adult who is ineterested in learning more about God’s Word. Pastor Robin will be leading this study as we make our way into the new fall season. This class will also be “team taught” as the year progresses. There will be plenty of new insights to learn as well as ample time for discussion as we grow in Jesus together. Come, bring your Bible, and join in!

Class: C.S. Lewis' Screwtape Letters
